I live in Cork, in the Republic of Ireland, with my partner Gosia from Poland. I own my own business called Paint Doctor which specialises in SMART repairs to vehicle bodywork, but can also be applied to anything with paint - such as guitars, or household radiators, etc.

I'm currently studying towards a BSc IT from Dublin City University.

I've previously worked in the Motor Trade for 7 years, where I previously was the Manager of a MINI frachise, and subsequently specialised in developing the online side of BMW/MINI Dealership, and was also responsible for all of their stock and event photography, and collating/tracking of online CRM enquiries.

I'm a founding member of the Cork Linux Users Group, of the The Pistons Motorcycle Club here in Cork, and of the MINI Club of Ireland. I'm the web admin for miniclub.ie, and also on the Committee of the club. I develop a few other websites in my spare time.

I play with a very sucessful wedding band here in Cork, and have previously played with a few rock bands. My main instruments are Violin (Trained classically through the Suzuki Method, and the Cork School of Music) and Guitar.

I've been interviewed for articles for the Irish Times and PC LIVE about Linux.
I created the BLG (Beginners Linux Guide) which was featured on Slashdot, and underwent a huge surge in popularity online a few years back.
I've written articles on using Linux for Linux.com
I've given a lecture on the business case for Linux at the Linux Awareness in Ireland Day, in UCC Cork.
I run a very small sideline in PC assembly and repair for a few select customers. If you're interested in becoming one, let me know.

Music Related
I've been the guitarist in bands such as Knightmoves, The Screaming Beavers, Grand Central, The Rockchix, Disco 2000, The King of Hearts, and The BizNiz.
I've been playing Violin since I was 3.
I'm occassionally accused of singing.

Petrol Related
I fly light aircraft, and hold an SPL.
I've driven a Honda Blackbird at over 185mph.
I've driven an E60 M5 at over 140mph.
I'm a MINI and Ducati addict, and generally if something has petrol in it, I'll be interested in it, driving it, and seeing how fast it'll go!
I enjoy doing my own maintenance and repairs to the vehicles I own.
I'm also a contributor for the hugely successful Motoringfile.com MINI News Site.

Oddball Stuff
I'm a PM of 67 (If you don't know what this is, I'm not explaining it)
I've worked as a Signwriter, PC Technician, Retail Salesperson, Network Installation Technician, Onsite Support Engineer, and a Graphic Designer, as well as being a Muso.
I've heckled Tommy Tiernan successfully :)

Hobbies
I rollerblade, play a few instruments, regularly go to the cinema/theatre, and I'm a keen photographer, and car/bike/aviation enthusiast. Travel, and learning languages are also at the fore. I do a fair bit of charity work in the time that's left over from everything else.
